Temperatures
Coolant Temperature
Engine coolant temperature. Monitors the health of the cooling system under load.
Why it matters
Rising coolant temp under repeated hard use signals the cooling system is overwhelmed. The ECU will intervene with thermal protection if temps get too high.
What to look for
Normal operating temp is ~195-210F. Above 220F is a warning. Above 240F triggers thermal protection (reduced power).
